Red hot exhaust manifold? Please Help!!!

So I was on my home tonight and I was driving a little more aggressive than normal but nothing extreme. When I climbed out of the car there was a little bit of smoke coming out of the back of hood, I popped her open and the exhaust manifold is glowing bright red! pretty sure that's not normal. does anyone have any ideas what it could be? Thanks

Glowing red for the exhaust manifold is actually normal if you drive the car aggressive, but the smoke is something you would need to investigate which I think is also normal due to the way it was driven.

always let the car run idle before you park it to cool it down. If the E.M. was red, than so was your turbo => bad for the turbo to put the car away like that. That is what turbo timers are for.

my manifold was getting pretty hot after I had the Revo stage 2 flash and before I put the high flow cat in. Now its not as bad. Is your car stock?

My car did that once, motor locked up the next morning...
