MIAMI! WMC/UMF less than 2 weeks away

well everything has come together and i'm going with two friends to ultra. somehow, making a cross country trip for a rave seemed like a great idea.

anybody else going? any locals have fun stuff for us to check out on sunday morning/afternoon? i don't leave until like 6pm. also good restaurants to check out near the viceroy hotel? i haven't been to miami since i was little... i have no contacts out there for anything! ahh help.

All I can say is when Ultra was here in Orlando last month i think it was.. that party was INSANE!!! Loved it! In Miami i could just imgaine how much crazier it could get! You'll definitely have a blast.

I dont believe there is an Ultra in Orlando IIRC its only Miami, NY, Puerto Rico, Brazil. As for restaurants, id say check out Burgers and Beer, i just went there last weekend and it was good, they have also been featured on the food network. There are also many resturants on Brickell (very close to viceroy), Perricone's is a very very good italian restaurant but it also might be pricey to some. If you want a great hang out spot for sunday to enjoy Miami weather and keep the beats going after Ultra check out Finnegans, great place to kick back, jam out, and drink up.. and also the restaurant has a pool! Heres the link to Finnegans, I love this place we always pull up by boat after a long day of partying on the water http://www.finnegansriver.com/ While at the viceroy, check out the pool on the 50th floor, i was there last weekend after burgers and beers and there was some awsome music playing up there by a live dj, everyone was hanging out by the pool drinking up.

As for Ultra im not 100% im going but i should know soon, i definitely wanna see deadmau5 close saturday night!

idk about that ultra in orlando either.. do you mean that dayglow thing? i heard that gets pretty live (nothing like the MIA though ;P)

sunday morning? every single hotel/motel, club on the strip (oceandrive) will be partying from the night before.. space afterhours? set? mansions?
the list goes on and on..

ahhh.. getting anxious just thinking about it!

Its a two day event where over 100 dj's world wide come together in one event and play from morning til 12.

I'ma be there for sure friday and saturday.. Sunday will be the beach if not a hotel pool party. Nothing planned yet..
I like Finnegans on the river a lot but have never checked it out during WMC. I might do that

i'm down with the rain.... according to the national weather service.. the chance of rain jumped up 10% for each day- 40% fri 20% sat.... could be fun. it's at least 80 degrees... can't be too bad. over here last week was 80's and it was awesome.. but then it cooled back off to 70 this week... ugh

It'll suck because some of the activites won't be going on or as fun..
Did you hear about the rain forest sounds simulation area? Supposedly its motion sensored so whatever movement you make, a different sound is qued.. that's nuts..

ahhh it was great this year.. swedish house mafia was the best imo... and carl cox (hour 2) was just fuckin sick!! I ended with deadmau5.. Bassnectar, sandy k were also highlights....
