VMR Wheels VB3 18x8.5 ET40 57.1 Super Silver - I'd be all over this right DAMN now, but was told these won't clear my b7 a4's front brakes? :( It's still odd to me seeing that my stock s-lines are ET43. Any updates on this?

Sometimes the diameter / width / offset specs seem like they would work, however, the design of the wheel itself has an impact on clearance. Even though this has a lower offset than your stock wheels, the curve of the spokes interfere with the calipers.
