AFAIK Induktion oil line are the only option, that's what I put into my build. For coolant lines, no idea. Nobody ever does anything with their stock lines. If you're really afraid about old lines.... just buy new OEMs.

The '01+ cars came with a larger oil return line. It's unnecessary to worry about this, though, IMO.

I've never seen a correlation between different size oil lines and turbo failure.

Honestly just check over your original oil lines and clean them thoroughly. If they look good then there should be no worries and just put fire hose sleeve on them and call it a day!

aparently the oil feed lines were updated for 2001.5 cars and audi recommends replacement when replacing turbos.

the induction lines seem good, but they don't look like anything you couldn't have a hydralic shop make for you at a fraction of the cost and i'm sure you could have them make up a set of new (and bigger) coolant lines too. I would also heat shield them by buying one of those thermal sleeves for good measure while your at it so the oil isn't superheated by radiating heat around the turbo before it enters the turbo.

I had one of my coolant lines swell up and burst on my car when i first got it, i repaired it but i noticed the line had crystallized coolant inside it, so thats why i would recommend its replacement.

I'm looking @ my ETKA 7.2 right now. There is no MY difference for the oil lines on either side, they're the same part number throughout the entire production cycle.

The ETKA has been updated to reflect the updated oil lines throughout. You can only get the updated version, previous part # superseded. Having worked a fair amount on both early and late S4's, I've never even seen a visual difference.

Oil lines are expensive, but if your car has +130k miles, you might want to throw down a few hundred more to have some peace of mind. I somehow managed to get complete brand new oil lines for $40 off VWVortex, so the deals are out there.
