I haven't seen any pictures of this on the early body style a6 so figured this might help some of you guys out.

All I did was make an extension for the bracket and use the hoses that came with the kit.

Hopefully that helps you guys out.

    that's a nice job dre..
oh dre? any clearance issue since you extended the bracket? probably snap some pics of it with the engine remarried to the car again? i think you have enought time to do that anyway.

@bashar.. the only benefit is, you don't have to take the intake manifold off when you try to replace the aux pump in the future if it fails again, plus i think the pump that came with this kit is better than oem..?? not sure. but i have no problems with it for the longest time..

Its hard to get a pic of it in the car in the original location. Once the y-pipe is off and the intake manifold is loose/off you cant miss it.

Do you think if its possible to take the pump out without removing the manifold?

You could probably leave the manifold in the vehicle with all the lines attached......but the bolts gotta come out and it will need to be at least lifted up a bit. once you are this far taking it out altogether is not much more work.

Unless you have really tiny hand like this guy....the manifold has to come off.

I've heard from the s4 guys that it is possible, but I think it would take more time. I'd rather take everything out and clean up and re-seal what I can.

I'll see if I have a picture of where it originally sits, but I know there is one floating around az somewhere.
