After searching for the proper brake light bulb number I have seemed to come up without any luck. What I had found was that the bulb was a 7225. After going to autozone and buying this bulb it was not correct it would not fit cause the little nubs on the bulb were not in the right place compared to the bulb that was burnt out (the one that needs to be replaced). So... what is the right part number for the outermost brake light bulb and where can I buy one. Thanks in advance.

    Try a 5007.

Edit: oops!. Make that a 2057LL. The 5007 is the smaller dome shaped one.

If you took the bulb out, take it to Auto Zone and find one that fits.

It is 2057LL (long life). I just changed mine this past weekend and bought them from PepBoys.

The recommendation came from "old guy" in this thread:
    http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...e-missing-bulb

The 7225LL recommended by the computer is wrong for sure. I'm so glad I checked AZ before going to the store.

LOL. I just realized old guy already responded to you and suggested a 5007. He's more knowledgeable than me for sure. =)
The 2057LL did work for me though.
