    in an attempt to activate TMPS in an A4 B8, I followed the Wiki:

    MMI high (MMI 2G):
    [07 - Control Head]
    [Adaptation - 10] -> Channel 01
    add 16 to the existing value

    [03 - ABS Brakes]
    [Security Access - 16] (probably with login code: 61378)
    [Coding - 07] -> Long Coding Helper -> Byte 1
    Bit 3 - Tire Pressure Monitoring (PR-7K6) active (1 = active)

    [17 - Instruments]
    [Coding - 07] -> Long Coding Helper -> Byte 4
    Bit 0 - Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPMS) installed (1 = active)

    finally I restarted the MMI.
    in the menu CAR, there was an entry Tyrepressuremonitor.

    however, this resulted in an tmps-error; both in the DIS as well as the warning-indicator

    so, I returned above setting back to their original values.
    and resetted the MMI again.
    but the error remains.
    did a complete error-scan with vag-com.
    removed all errors, etc. etc.

    any suggestions, as how to remove the error ??
    thnks
