How to test GALA function in B&O system?

Anyone has a good way to test the GALA feature of the B&O system to verify it works to adjust volume to compensate cabin noise? I notice the numbers from 1-7 gradually take volume louder. Auto is what I have it set at. Just wondering how I would know if its broken.

Have you ever needed to adjust your volume as you go up the highway? Or turn it down once you get off?

    There's your test.

I barely ever needed to if it were on reasonable levels. The system can compensate enough.

also, a little off topic, but what does entertainment suppression do? whenever i go into the menu the volume is waay louder, and no matter if i change it to higher or lower than it was before, when i exit the menu it stays the same. i thought it was some sort of ipod volume adjuster but iunno?

Could that just be the cabin being quiet? Even without the stereo playing, cabin stays quiet on or off highway.
I tried making loud noises to see if stereo volume increases, but it doesn't..

the entertainment suppression volume control is used to set the radio volume when the Audi Parking System is activated (meaning the radar sensors on the back bumper)
Strangely, this menu is still present even if your car is not equipped with a form of the Audi Parking System, so it basically does nothing...
