I was curious, tried it and it worked. Usually it doesn't. Weird. Maybe Google rolled an Audi enthusiast algorithm into their search code.

^^^ Nice man, that is my next mod. Just not feeling the red too much, maybe a bright yellow for the rotor and neon green on the caliper. I like contrast.

I really hope you're being sarcastic jp. Cause that's not really the way you're supposed to do it.

And these will be either painted or powder coated satin black before they go on my car. I like my calipers subtle and under spoken.

Ohhh, those are yours. I've seen that thread. If I can find a place locally to PC iron portion of my S4 brakes I'll totally do it.

I wonder if I'd have to dissamble them myself or not? Never pulled brake calipers apart before. :-/

Those came out nice for a regular paint job Ruska. I see you mentioned using VHT Caliper paint, but how did you go about cleaning / prepping them? TIA

I just did a rough sanding and a wipe down with damp cloth to clean up the dust and dirt. After this winter they are holding up pretty well just a few minor chips and such. I would love to powder coat them though.

I sent my c6 z06 calipers to Mike Golding @ thepowdercoater.com . Here's a pic of one of the calipers that are on the way back to me as we speak. Custom colors done to my specifications

Those look great! What paint/materials did you use and whatnot? Or are they powder coated?

Thanks for the info. Didn't know if they needed to be hosed down with brake cleaner + blasted w/a hot high pressure hose or not.

I think Tyler's reference to 'stock calipers' might have been stock B6 A4 calipers as stock B5 / B6 / B7 calipers are hardly small.

Used I temp caliper paint from auto zone followed by 2 or 3 layers of high temp clear coat. Only other material was painters tape, to keep the unpainted parts unpainted. Spent some quality time cleaning those things up prior to painting though.

Ah, the HT clear coat is your secret. I think that might be the key here. I'd really like to get a nice satin-gloss black coat on mine and this might be the trick. Thanks man.

Gotcha, will do. They're just sittin here in my room so I figured it would be a nice little project while the weather is less than favorable.
