like i am installing it and the rubber type hoses right after the intercooler has to make a sharp turn and it is not designed for the sharp of turn. so the hoses gets thinner. if that doesn't make it clearer i can take a picture.

I get it now. 034 is good at what they do, so I doubt it would make that significant of a difference. More of a crush effect of bending silicone. Usually with custom piping, people would use mandrel bend aluminum piping to have the same ID all the way through with no turbulance (other than at coupler joints). If you feel it a big concern, call 034 and inquire about it. They have really good customer service.

Are you trying to install this using your stock bumper?

That's probably the issue. I believe you have to modify your bumper/support to get that unit to fit correctly.

Some trimming might be needed to fit everything.

I meant trimming of pieces that get in the way of the piping. I had to do a lot of that to fit my custom kit. I would think that the 034 kit would fit in easier but these cars are kinda tight in some of those areas and need some trimming.

Of course. The secondary air injection pump is part of the emissions controls for the vehicle. You'll have a CEL and depending where you live, you won't pass emissions.
