I need to test my N75. I saw a couple posts when searching that talked about using a testlight to see if it is working...

Could someone please give a detailed description of what to use the testlight on?

    Pics would be awesome.

    Thanks

Sorry that I don't have pictures to show you. While you are looking at the n75, make sure you remove the boot over the electric connection to check for damaged wires.

    Good luck!

The official test method is to measure the resistance of the coil, it should be ~ 13 Ohms, +/- 2 Ohms. The test light method requires touchijng the probe to the signal wire with the other probe touching engine ground the light should flash ON/OFF quickly ,with the engine running. If you touch the + power supply wire and ground with the probes, the light will be ON continuously, and does not actually test the coil in the N75 connected that way,
