    Question Rear License Plate Holder

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Hi All,

My avant's rear license plate holder is giving me some issues. The license plate screws are rusted into the clip nuts, and when I tried to loosen the screws, the clip nuts broke from the fiberglass (or whatever it is) so now they spin, and there's no taking off the plate.

Anyone had this issue? If so, what did you do?

    Thanks for your help!

I did have this issue, and im ashamed to admit this, but i bought a roll of 3m Double sided foam tape and covered the plate with it, and slapped it on. My car was getting inspected the next day, there was no choice.

The plate wont go ANYWHERE. It will just be a BITCH when you go to take it off someday haha.
