    Quick 034 trans mount question.....

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
So I ordered a set of tranny mounts from 034 through a guy in the uk that deals with them, when they arrived today I recieved to different mounts, the normal round looking one, and the one thats listed for the 1.8t. My pal said he contaced 034 and they said that was right for the S4. We however both think that's wrong and always thought that the S4 mounts are the same for both sides. So should have 2 of these mounts:

Can people confirm this for me.

They also sent me the wrong JHM short shifter, i ended up with the passat/a4 one with no push down reverse, just a straigth plain shaft, not the early S4 6 speed one. Is this normal service from them? Or has my usual car curse risen it's ugly head once again. A pain seein as how long it takes to get parts from the US, and I really don't wanna pay the costs, which arent cheap, to send them all the way back.

think one of the jhm short shift does away with the push down reverse but trannys should be the same , ive been torn between 034 motoe mounts and trans mounts and the sterns im 99% gonna go with sterns but let us know how yours are. suppose best thing contact 034 but im sure they shoud be identical mounts

mine were both the same. Yet if I remember correctly the a4 has one of the same mounts as the s4 and one different one.

1.8T uses 2 different mounts. The S4 uses 2 of the same mount, pictured above (although those are motorsport). If you ordered something for the S4, and they gave you the wrong parts, then you shouldn't be responsible for shipping charges. Although the wait, might be out of anyones control. If your tranny has a push down, u need a push down.

I just changed my trans mounts out a few weeks ago and I am positive that both of the mounts were identical

Thanks for the replies, that's confirmed what we already thought, just wanted to check. Not entirely surownow these mistakes could've been made yet, but hopefully get it all sorted soon enough.
