April 10th Audi Efficiency Challenge T to S

Similar to last summers Mileage Challenge but this time from Reeves Audi in Tampa to Suncoast Audi in Sarasota hence
Audi Efficiency Challenge T to S.


1. Up to 13 classes dependent on engine size
2. There needs to be at least two cars per class otherwise there will be some handicapping
3. Audis need to have the trip computers and be able to record, elapsed time, average MPG, Average MPH, and total miles
4. Continental breakfast at Reeves for the start
5. Burgers and the fixings at Suncoast at the finish
6. Trip tickets provided by the AAA of St Petersburg
7. Routing will take us the long way, Old 41 Tamiami Trail, then west towards Anna Marie Island, south along the barrier islands to St Armands Key, one lap of the circle then on into Sarasota and Suncoast
8. Registration is $20 up through April 1st there after $25,

10. If we get two A3 TDI's they will have their own class.
11. This was family event last year and we plan the same this year. A number of father son teams, husband and wives and couples, this is not just for the boys and their toys as all of the women who entered last year either won or placed second in their engine classes.

definetly want to go, Suncoast is my dealership. But Im definetly not winning the mpg award lol

Need to get another 4.2 S4 and you fellows will have your own class. Presently two RS6's will be going at it.

I've been going back and forth with the idea to make the drive down to FL to do this. Its just something that sounds pretty fun and I might be able to do good in my own class since the 4.2 isn't gonna come anywhere close to any overall wins.

Knowing that there's not already a ton of B6 S4's signed up makes the odds even better. I've already spent a bunch of $$$ lately but even still a FL trip is very tempting right now.

We are looking at classes determined by engine size, type and mode. There has to be two cars to make a class otherwise there will be some handicapping. Since we do not have another V10 running yet we might put the S8 in with the two RS6's running. No overall winners, just class winners. All who particpate will need to have Audi driver information systems that work and include avg MPG, avg MPH, elapsed time and total mileages.
