Its the middle package. Value plus limited.
The only problem I am seeing with this plan is that it only covers up to
60 bucks an hour. You more hourly coverage rates but you have to get a more expensive plan.
I dont know what to do.
I already am over my budget on buyin this car to begin with but I have a feeling if I dont buy it im going to have problems and then if I do buy it nothing is going to go wrong with the car.
the bolded statements are big red flags to me. Average maintaince costs for this car per year are (arguably) ~$2k and that is for a pretty generally healthy S4. Some years are worse than others and the first year with an S4 tends to be the worst (the reason people get rid of S4s, especially Joe Q Public, is they see a bill for axels, timing belt, and control arms and freak out). And I know of no shops (even indy shops) that charge $60/hour.
Is a warranty a good idea generally? Sure. Is putting $150/month away for repairs a better idea? Yea probably, that cash won't ever come back to you and say "sorry, we aren't gonna cover that".
