How long did it take you to install your meth

Shouldn't take long at all, I'm doing mine soon and am looking at like an hour once the front end is off plus wiring, which would rake another half hour or hour if you know what you're doing.

The vast kit took my an hour to install everything. Now i have an HFS-3 waiting to go in but I doubt it will take me that much longer. 2 hours or so.

Took me a half-day to install my HFS-6 system. Depends on how/where you're installing your tank & pump, and where you're installing your nozzles.

Thanks guys. To answer the question why are you taking the front end of?, Were pulling the motor so it will all be apart and the quote he wrote me up for didn't include installing the meth.

I ordered the extra nozzles & fittings to run it direct-port. I did the same when I had the hfs-5 on my SRT-4. It uses a 150 psi pump, and sprays based on injector duty cycle..

You clearly don't have a meth injection kit.....You set it once and don't touch it. You do want to see that it is working though. I also assume you have a Tiptronic then?

I get a lot of PMs about my Homelink/Vast Meth controller mod. So here is the step by step I have been sending people:

Go for it. It was pretty time consuming but the results speak for themselves.

First you want to remove the visor assembly from the car.

Use your fingers and pry off the Homelink cover. It snaps off.

Take apart the Vast Meth controller and get rid of the back piece (eventually)

Use my pictures in the email I will send you to copy the placement of the top of the controller onto the Homelink

Send me your Email

Get a Dremel tool

Get a snake bit 3 feet longish

Make a stencil of the inner edge of the controller top on the top of the Homelink with a black marker.

Dremel out the Homelink SLOWLY (I think I spent the most time on this to get it perfect)

Test fit it ever few passes (mine snapped into place it was so exact.

Put the guts of the controller into the homelink cover under the buttons. It screws into the top of the controller you snapped into place on the Homelink top. SEE PIC

Trim any excess homelink material that is in the way when routing the wires

Route the wires up through the homelink section to the top of the mirror that is closest to the windshield when in its standard position.

Pull the wires out the top of the visor after you drill a small hole

Part two: Running wires

Get a metal coat hanger and open it up

GENTLY pull the hangar through the visor anchor hole into the A-pillar

Tape or loop the hanger to the wires and slowly/carefully pull them through

Put the visor back on after drilling a small access hole for the wires to slip through in the visor anchor piece that attaches to the roof/A-pillar

turn the wires so they are all next to each other between the visor and the hole

Electrical tape the wires together

sharpie them black so they blend in better

You will never see the wires unless you put down the visor, even then you barely see them

Open the mirror.....still work?

Flip down the visor....still work?

Move the visor to the left position...still work?

Good! Chase the wires into the fuse panel/knee bolster area and hook that bitch up using the provided directions/forum knowledge.

Watch the meth dance light up your night life right in front of your eyes.

you're right with both assumptions
I knew meth can be run all the time but I also thought it could be used occasionally like nitrous. And while I don't have a manual transmission, I usually drive in Tiptronic mode. I just don't like moving much while at speed.
