wiper sensor!!!!

Does anyone know if I can calibrate the wiper sensor w/o going to a dealer? I do have the VAG-COM as well..... No matter what sensitivity the wipers are on the damn things wipe all the time. Hope you guys can help me out ** Thanks Charlie

I had the same problem. I took it to the dealer and they adjusted it but unfortunately it created a different set of problems. When they adjusted the sensitivity it also adjusted the light sensor sensitivity and now my auto lights don't turn on until is REALLY dark. Not sure if they could readjust it so the lights and rain senor work??

the wipers and headlight run off of the same sensor. so..when you change it for less sensitivity it also unfortunately changes your lights too. i've run into this toooooo many times at the dealer i work for. sorry dude..

Thanks for the info...I figured that was the case. I'm just happy my wipers no longer wipe a dry window!
