What's up fellas - I just joined here, but am a long-time Audi nut. I had a B5 S4 from 2004 until this past November when I stepped up to a new 2010 S5, purchased from Chandler Audi. Just wanted to say hi and share some pics. I've done some street racing (ssshhhh), and an SCCA event, both in the old S4. I am eager to get the S5 on a track, and I heard about an event coming up this weekend, but I unfortunately have plans. I was going o post some pics, but I guess I'm not allowed to yet?

Old ride - black B5 S4, 6 sp, alcantara interior, no mods, Nuvolari knock-off 18's, then AMG 5 spoke knock-offs
New ride - Meteor Gray S5 Prestige, Magma int, carbon fiber, 6 sp

My real automotive hobby is rockcrawling - i'm sure you guys are familiar with it, been doing it since college, and it's why I live in AZ - best trails in the country.
Buggy - Partial FJ40 Landcruiser frame, tube chassis, vortec 6.0, th700r4, np205, rockwell 2.5tons with F&R steering, blah blah blah...

Anywho I'd like to do some work to the S5 eventually, but nothing right away, and anything I do get will probably be from StaSIS so as no to void the warranty.

No donuts yet in the S5, since the Ebrake engages all 4 wheels, I'm not quite sure how to get them going...???

welcome wes! i think several guys are doing the track event this weekend but we should be planning a cruise for next weekend. nnnick's is great at rallying the troops for that :) saturdays typically we'll go for a spirited run up to cottonwood. hope to see that sweet S5 around!

And yep, its about time to plan another cruise. To be honest I don't know if I'll still have energy (or brake pads) left for one the following weekend, which is why I've been slow to plan anything. There is also chat of a cruise the weekend of the 20th with some New Mexico people in town?

I lived in Anchorage for about 2.5 years, but I've been back in Phoenix since 2007. On the images, I was referring to adding them as attachments to the post. It shows below that attachments are disabled. I don't have any images hosted anywhere :( ...

I'll check in here and try to meet up for one of the saturday cruises... That race track outside of Tucson looks awesome! If there are any slots left I will try to sign up soon!

That isn't my S5 rolling around Tempe. I am on the N side of town, so if you see one on the 101 between I-17 and hwy51 during rush hr, that's prolly me. I also get over to old town SD occasionally.
NNNICK - I saw a pic of your ride in another thread with no front end on it - there's a G35 next to ya - does it have Wisconsin plates by any chance? dude I work with has one just like it, and lives in tempe... Of course those things are probably ASU sorority standard issue, so it's probably some chick's car...

Let me know if you guys do a cruise next weekend, and I should be able to make it.

Hey I am the current and proud owner of said B5 S4. I am not so new, but kind of new to AZ. Here are some pics. I have recently tinted the windows and have a lot of future plans.

Right on AJ - looking good! I'm glad you bought it and are treating it well, not some punk kid who is just going to go wrap it around a tree...

If anyone wants to go rockcrawling they are totally welcome. I will post up here next time there is a trip, even if you just want to come and watch, you can get back to most of the trails with a jeep or 4x4 truck and then hike up the trails... Since it's been raining a lot I won't be going anytime soon - takes a few weeks for the trails to dry out...
