Hey just saw the new item from ECS the sprint booster. I am contemplating purchasing this to aleviate some of our cars weak throttle response. Is anyone on here currently using one and if so is it worth it? Its a little tough to justify $329 if its not quite noticeable.

you should save your money. since our cars are throttle by wire, all this device does is open up the throttle eariler when you tap on the accelerator. you'll get the same result if you depress the accelerator more. in the end of the day you're paying for the illusion of your car being peppier.

I know the marketing of this device is a joke, but I'm wondering if the device does have some benefits when it comes to tracking the car.?? The A4 is so gutless on the track that the gas pedal is always floored out of every apex and even before the apex. Wondering if this thing shortens up the throttle so less pedal movement equals full throttle? It would be kinda like a 1/4 throttle kit on a racing motorcycle. It changes how the throttle pedal is modulated, which may be an improvement, or it could just make the throttle too "touchy" to modulate in track conditions??

Why would anyone pay $329 for "0" gain in h.p./tq when for $499 you can get 40+h.p. & 80+tq with a reflash?

ther was an extend post about sprint booster in the past ther was a guy who took logs and dyno his car the result was ZERO hp increase also ther was a youtube video showing the throttle body responce before and after the sprint booster the conclusion was that sb is just changing the feel of ur pedal nothing more. Anyway i have a sprint booster with or without it the car is the same yeah it's ok to have a better feeling on the gas pedal but does it worth the price ? I don't think so. The huge difference came when i chipped the car even with the sb lag was still noticeable but after the chip the lag was gone ( just like the revo guys told me u don't need it anymore throw it away ) :) so my conclusion is Chip > SB

    edit : http://peony888.com/VS/SprintBooster.pdf
    Conclusions
The Sprint Booster is a simple amplifier that multiplies the accelerator pedal
sensor signal, making the accelerator pedal more sensitive. It does not eliminate
any significant delay in throttle response, nor does it greatly improve acceleration
figures. It does not change the adaptive throttle control programming of
electronic throttle control vehicles. It does change pedal “feel”. This change in
feel is interpreted by some as improved throttle response, acceleration, and a
change in adaptive throttle control programming. Considering what it actually
    does, it is expensive.
