    Warranty ? and service

I got my car used not to long ago from another dealership (non audi).... Its an 08 with 34xxx miles. Its almost at 35k and need to do the service. Since it is still under the original warranty (4 year 50k) is the warranty transferred over to me?....is the service covered under the warranty?

Im just confused because I called a dealership today and they said my car is under the original warranty.. but they said I also got it CPO which is confusing because I bought it from a BMW dealership... (although the same dealership name also has an audi dealership at another location)

If you're still under the factory warranty, then take the car into your local dealer for your 35k service. While there, have them run the vin and tell you exactly what kind of warranty is attached to that car. Only someone with access to Audi's database will be able to tell you that.

I totally 100% agree. Take it to the dealer and sort it out. If ya got a CPO till 100,000 miles then be happy!!! :-)

Oops forgot to say service is not covered under warranty but at least you will be figure out what warranty ya have. Warranty covers stuff that goes wrong or malfunctions such as bad latches, light switch, etc. Not normal wear and tear like brakes and tires etc.

Your 35k is only covered if the original owner bought the maintnance package which transfers to you. If they did not then you have to pay.

And if so, you're better off buying the stuff you need and DIY'ing it or having a local shop do it. The dealer will be very expensive for a simple service. We have everything you need to service the car (and shortly we'll have a list for what you need to each maintenance interval as well)
