What should I pay for FI exhaust?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I have been negotiating a deal with a fellow AZ member who is buying an S4 with a FI cat back w/2K Miles on it. Non-Resonated w/cats. He wants a stock exhaust.

The deal is for him to box and ship it to me, I'll bolt it up and ship mine to him. My stock exhaust has about 40K on it.

How much should I be paying for the upgrade? I know the FI retails for 1250, and a stock can go anywhere up to about $2000, but obviously mine is a bit more seasoned. Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance

I'd say his exhaust is worth $700-$100, your stock is worth nothing, but call it $100. So figure you should be paying him $600-$900 for the swap.
You represent the idiocy of today.

$2000 - you can buy mine for 1/4 the price and keep yours. Mine only has 20k on it.

actually i was just going off the numbers the other guy gave me, I had no idea where the stock fell into, i knew it obviously wasn't worth that, i was just estimating how much it would be brand new from audi. no arguement on how much it's worth now.

I don't have numbers in front of me but the list price from the dealer just may be 2 grand for the stock set up. Just like the bitchen A/M stereo cost $500 and the crappy stocks ones cost $1000
