Only one mirror bronze

I have the premium package which both mirrors were bronze when I bought the car but now only the drivers side is. The auto dim feature still works but wondering why one mirrow has changed color. I never noticed anything leaking, do I need to replace mirror?

Hmm. Some days my mirrors look bronze and some days they don't. I thought it had to do with the sun. I'd say if the autodim still works, and the mirror isn't foggy everything is fine. That autodim glass is quite expensive so you don't want to replace it unless you have to.

The failure mode of my autodim glass was the thick plastic/rubber seal on the outside was cracked in a few places, allowing some of the fluid to ooze out. Then after casually washing my car, water got into the mirror, and filled the void where the fluid once was, causing a super foggy, murky mirror display. I'm not sure if it still dimmed or not. Didn't matter, it was useless day or night. Long story short, it all started with the cracks on the black outer edge molding of the glass. I think that would be the "health indicator" if there was any.

If both mirrors were bronze when you bought the car, then both mirrors were already f'd.

bronze? both my mirrors have a blueish tint

Yeah, mine are bronze-ish during the day, and blue-ish in the evening. A little funky, but the autodim is amazingly nice on the highway.
