Because there was only roughly 2,000 copies of that game produced and it is believed that only 10 remain in existance. That one that sold for $40k is the only one left that is factory-sealed.

It's rare because those are from Bandai, Nintendo bought the license, the Bandai ones were pulled.
Although I have a nice collection, that's just hardcore to pay that much.

all the time. one person running and 2 others slapping it behind. It was the only way to beat cheetah. and it was a great way to fuck up your friends mid triple jump.
