    Heat/AC unit stuck on

So Im curious how many other b5'ers have this problem. Like almost everybody, my buttons for the AC/heat like to stick during certain times of the year. But, everyonce and a while my AC/heat will turn on when I start the car, and I cant adjust the temp, flow, anything. My buttoms were pushing just fine yesterday, but the system was unresponsive so I was driving 1.5 hours with the heat blasting the whole way.

    Anybody else experience this?

dunno about the heat getting stuck on but when i have sticky buttons, i park in the sun in the summer, wait for the car to start boiling, then get in there and push the offending button a million times. seems to solve the issues for a few months.

I have had this problem too. In my case it was a button getting stuck in the "in" position that was causing my HVAC controls to freeze. I either waited until my car warmed up enough to unfreeze the buttons or like BlkdoutA4 said, pushed the buttons really hard until it worked its way out. I have yet to take the whole console apart to clean though.
