    Help with (G28 engine speed sensor) replacement.

    I need help Swapping out the engine speed sensor replacement. I tried to take out the sensor and it was very hard. I tried to get the sensor from the bottom like it says in the DIY but was unsuccessful. does anyone know how to replace the sensor from the top and could help me with pictures?

    You did unbolt it right? Just asking the obvious first, also, there is an oring on it so you might have to put some force into it....

    Unbolt, pull and replace. Like mentioned above, the o-ring makes it tough...just muscle it.

    Is there a way you could show me how to reach the sensor from the hood. Instead of under the car?

    If you want to get it from up top, you are prob going to have to remove your oil filter.
