2004 A6 has a creeking sound coming from center dashboard

I have been experiencing a really odd problem. About 4-5 months ago my turn signal module went bad. Replaced it with the OEM part, and all was "Good-Good". About a weak ago,f getting it my turn signals just stopped flashing all together (Internal & External). My original thought was a fuse, or defective bulb...not! So then I can across a thread that suggested that the actual stem had died. I was in the process of reviewing a DITY, when all of a sudden...my turn signals are functioning properly????

You are laughing, but I am serious!!!! It sounds like "Crumbling" paper or someone scratching their nails on a Blackboard...Skreeeeeeeech... There is nothing like driving on the "Outer Loop" and all of a sudden...lol...between songs....Skreeeeee...

Any ideas???

Man my C5 has fixed itself twice and I just accept it and hope that the magical elf of a mechanic in my dash is ok with the rates I dont pay him...And in VA differenct counties have different laws, the county I'm in doesnt check emissions. The best part is while i hate the small town that I'm in i have 1 of 5 Audis in town 1 of 2 A6s and best of all 1 of 1 2.7t's

Huh? Where is the description of the creeking sound?

The sounds is coming from the center of my dash board. The sound may be coming from the vent, but I am not sure
