Replaced my filter with this and no more oiling. Quality is better than K&N too. Best option if you're going with drop-in filter.

honestly, my last Blackstone had some pretty high silicon counts and it *is* oiled(actually considered going to Walmart and picking up a Fram filter). I can't imagine what it would be without the oil trapping the small particles. The 1-2HP it gives isn't worth it imo.

Directly from AFE since ECS is out of stock at the moment and didn't want to wait.

Nice filter! I swore off K&N filters years ago. Went through too many MAF sensors. Was it from the K&N? I dunno, but to me it just isn't worth the risk.

I've got a dyno day next week, <5HP/TQ difference and my K&N is toast. It doesn't really sit right in the air box anyway.

I was comparing it to my old K&N filter and the edge are way sturdier compared to the K&N flimsy edges. Overall the quality is much better.

I have heard good things about ITG for other vehicles, but they do still use oil to aid in the filtration. I know the oil can kill MAF's but I have never had issues as long as users don't lather on the oil after a cleaning.

Installed the same thing a year ago. Good filter and actually fits properly (compared to K&N)

I just installed mine today... according to the specs the edges are made of Urethane, hence, the superb quality. Call it placebo effect or what not but together with new spark plugs the difference was substantial. Car takes off faster and is more responsive, noise is almost the same, slightly higher than before.

First impression: I recommend this filter hands down. Now let's wait and see the long run pros and cons.

Disposable paper air filters have always worked best in all my cars and they're cheap.
