Under Seat Storage (Drawer)

Hey Guys...does anyone know if this option is available for B8 S4 owners?

Underseat drawer (storage)?

I found this on the B8 A4 forum...pretty cool. Does anyone know part numbers, have a DIY or any other info? Looks like they are available for both driver and passenger.

I have a complete DIY listed in the A4 forum with part numbers. Along with a ton of new interesting Vag codes and Misc DIY's.

just installed them on both front seats. Awesome add in my opinion. I put my wife's sunglasses with cleaner crap in the passenger seat undertray and I put my umbrella under my seat. Great ways to remove the clutter from our cars. Bought mine from OEM PLUS by the way, they were great!

I am working with someone to do an adaptive headlight swap. I have all the wiring figured out and whats needed to do it. I can't even begin to attack from Halogen though. From HID to Adaptive though not as bad as you would think. One new controller, some repining and an adapter harness.

Yeah I don't wonder to often though. I think the separation of the B8 forums is a bit of a mistake. You guys need an area where you can discuss the specifics of the S4 but there is no much in common that people are always missing things if your not checking both forums. Just about every mod I've done is not specific to the A4.

btw, How do you tell for sure if you've already got this feature?

Well if your in the US you probably don't have it. It wasn't an option in the US. The PR code is 8Q5 i believe so look in your manual or the trunk at the PR sticker. You can also just watch your lights when you start the car and see if they move left and right as well as up and down.

If you want to convert from Halogen Kufatec makes a kit with the level sensors but they wont make a kit for HID cars. Oddly they say it's because of having to repin the range module. I looked at the plug and you don't need pin tools to repin that one module because of the pin types. It just needs some pin swaps and a fairly simple conversion harness for the headlights. I'm working on making a harness now for someone and have worked out the pin swap so we'll see how it goes.

Well, I thought that to be true as well, however I purchased my car preowned and the previous owner actually switched out the stock headlights to the ecodes. So I'm running those now. I've seen it blink of course upon startup, but I'm not sure if that's movement that I'm seeing. I'm going to have to check them out again and see if they are indeed moving as you said. I knew it was suppose to do that, but didn't know if the projector itself moved, or just something within the projector.
