Can I take the tips that it comes with off and replace them with my own? what is the inlet/outlet size? And is there an equivelent magnaflow muffler that I can weld my own tips on? What is the difference between there race series and street series?

the tips are welded on and the outlet/inlet are both 2.5" the tip is 4" and its perfect for the B6 cutout

cut off the tip and weld on the new ones, or get the magnaflow race mufflers that come tipless most exhaust shops should have them in stock as long as they carry magnaflow.

So I just got back from a local shop, and he said if you cut the race muffler up to put your own tip on...it will look like ass. He said just go with a regular high flow magnaflow muffler, not the fancy chrome stuff. he said its not a race series, or a street series, just magnaflow performance muffler. He said it has the same performance, and should sound the same. I am going to put the 034 motorsports HFC on, 3inch piping to 2.25, to the magnaflow's...hopefully they sound the same as the 14851's....
