How can anyone give you any information when you have provided nothing? What's the MSRP? What are the options? What is the lease duration? How many miles? What's the downpayment? Duh.

He said "base model" which I'd assume to mean a Premium 2.0T.

If you pay taxes up front I'd think low 500s would be a good price for 12K miles/36 months. A5 lease prices can vary hugely, you should just talk to a dealer.

*Edit: A local dealer is having a special 459/month on a 2.0T with 40K msrp but I don't know the exact terms.

dbansal - congrats on graduating. May I recommend using leasecompare.com? It can give you a decent estimation based on the car you price out with the options (MSRP or adjusted price), your credit score, down payment, and term. It will give you rates and payment info from several banks--you can choose to finance through one of these institutions if you prefer not to use Audi FS or another lender the F&I team works with.

A few things to be cognizant of - when leasing through AFS or other lenders through the dealership, the lease usually includes GAP, which in my opinion is a must have. You may also be able to negotiate a good price if you get the Audi Care (highly recommended) and other extras like road hazard, excess wear & tear, etc. My understanding is that the F&I guys make their commission off of the number of packages they sell (and not the total cost), and in my experience, I have been able to negotiate a better rate or lower costs by including more of these goodies while processing the paperwork.

    Good luck.

Thanks a lot guys! Was thinking either base A4 or A5. Shoot for the stars right? Though id see what an A5 lease would look like. Maybe I should invest my money in an appreciating asset instead of a car.

A4 leases are significantly cheaper, I know that for a fact. Anyways good luck deciding; the smart thing to do would be to invest in an asset..but hey we all do stupid things.
