    How much does the 2.7T engine weigh?

    I need to ship out my spare 2.7t engine. It does not have turbos on it and has everything from the fuel injectors down. I need an approximate weight to be able to get a shipping quote. I searched but could not find anything. Any help is appreciated.

    belittle would know better than I, but from the forklift scale at yellowfreight, mine was ~410lbs longblock with turbos, inlets, and on a weak pallet. But supposedly they reweighed it at a later station and it was more, around 500lbs? I'm not sure which scale was off.

    I weighed mine with turbos on an industrial scale, came in at 420 without pallet
    I don't think I care anymore

    I would get your quote based on 500lbs that way you wont get any surprises when it comes

    The full motor complete weights 489 pounds with a pallet. Shipped 2 already. probably subtract 30 pounds for the turbos.
