    Thanks
It sounds like you haven't correctly changed your coding...

I must have typed out (on this thread) what need to be changed at least 5 times, so I am not going to retype it here...

Sorry about that, yeah I misinterpreted the DIY which mentions testing out the lights before securing them, which was before
the vagcom part of the DIY.

ah ok - not correctly coding for them will create the results you experienced...

Did you find the correct codes and get it worked out?

Yes, after correcting the coding it worked perfectly! :) I will post pics later today, I didn't have a camera with me.

Thanks again for the help, and sorry about that, I felt so noob when it turned out to just be the coding. I was freaking out
that I had crossed some wiring or something when only one of the lights stayed on and the high beams made
    the LEDs stutter.

Don't worry about it lol - that is what the forums are for...

It is interesting though.. When I swapped out my headlights, I ran them for a couple mins to see what happens w/o the coding... I experienced the same thing as you - both light comes on, passenger light flickers, passenger light goes out... Did you noticed the red flash when you turned on the headlights without the coding?

I would not be surprised if it was the same coding as the A4

I'm guessing there should be some instructions with the kufatec adapter.

    Pics as promised...

But first, I'd like to give a BIG thanks to Jens (lowestA4) and ChrisMT79 for getting me all the parts I needed at a great price. They were super helpful during the whole process and I received the parts very quickly, and in great condition...the packaging was top notch! I would also like to thank Bunn for being a huge help during the install and providing the vagcom cable (and also shout out to his neighbor for some very helpful tools!). And last but certainly not least, thanks to everyone who contributed to this DIY, especially ASU Daniel and NPuter!

    And without further adieu... :)

Once again, thanks to everyone I mentioned, I LOVE my car's new look!! :D

Yes, I used the code in the original post (26001031063C00010000080000001D0D0F145208000000010 00000).
Getting those wires through the firewall and connecting them to the clips was one of the longest parts of the install lol.

He provided me with one, but I also paid extra ($93 extra) for expedited shipping so I could get them within a week. Normal international shipping is 2-2.5 weeks, and I don't know if you can get accurate tracking information (you probably can).

I got whatever the normal shipping was - I was in no rush..

If I recall correctly, it took ~3-3.5 weeks - the only thing the tracking number did was tell me if it was in the US or not...

Yea I don't like to waste money on faster shipping, but I'm moving next week and then heading off to school so I wanted to get everything in before then. My tracking number kicks ass I can ask dhl for long/lat coordinates on the package updated every hour. Currently sitting in customs at 38° 56' 30" N / 77° 27' 27" W (Dulles International Airport)

My insurance claim finally processed and it is only partial payment.
So I will be putting my first set of slightly damaged e-codes on sale in the classified.

PM me if anyone is interested.

I wanted to pass along what I learned about aiming your low beams, which you need to do despite the xenon headlamps having auto levelers (those aren't for aiming). This applies in particular to e-codes. Find a level area with a wall - I went to the bottom level of a parking deck. Drive up close to the wall. Mark spots on the wall directly out from the center of each bulb. Back the car straight back about 10 feet. Then adjust your headlamps so that the beam pattern aligns to your marks like this:

the X is the mark that you made.

Adjustments are made with the two white bolts on the top of the headlamps; one for vertical, one for horizontal. All you need is an allen wrench (hex key) to turn the bolts. Everyone else on the road will thank you.

Wow a4_bob that was great I just installed my e-codes today and they seemed to be aimed a little off. I had no clue what those white screws were for. But anyways I got mine working except for the high beams because I could not find the "3 inch diameter plug" underneath the dash nor under the driver's side rain tray. Can someone take a pic of the plug for me? I couldn't figure out how to get the wires through the firewall and I felt completely retarded looking for it today. Also as a side note, 100% power for the led's is WAY too much. I realized it was completely obnoxious after about 5 people high beamed me when I didnt even have my lights on, just the DRLs. Oops. I'll change it to something closer to the stock 9% tomorrow.

Just installed Hoem fog lights to match the Xenon retro fit. Camera picks up slight variation of temp but I cannot tell in person.

Now I've recoded the ECU accordingly and is the same as the coding I have for my halogen to xenon retrofitted car. But with my friends car, he gets a warning message on his DIS saying "Right side light / running light". Now given that the AFS is on the right light, I assume the error relates to that.

Would anyone know what type of coding I should do in order to get rid of this error message?

Here is a pic of the message

Still haven't sorted this out yet. Can anyone here help me on this or point me in the right direction???

Talk to jens (lowestA4). He pretty much sells everyone their stuff for this mod and has the lowest prices by far. He'll point you in the right direction, but just to give you an estimate it'll be about $900-$1000 for all the necessary parts and using the guide on the first page installation is an easy diy.
