DTC memory of ECU. I have no clue what this means. Full description of what I need to do or replace would help me out a bunch. PLease PM me with as much info about this as possible so that I can understand it. Thank you!

That code has something to do with your instrument cluster. How are the gauges reading? Did you do the Output test to make sure all your gauges work (needle sweep)?

DTC is diagnostic troubleshooting code. This code is simply telling him to check diagnostic troubleshooting code for the memory of the ECU. The OP stated that he erased the codes, and no CEL has popped back up.

Dont know how to do the needle sweep thing? Also my engine oil temp only works from time to time and the same goes for my engine temp gauge. Neither one of those work at any given time that I have noticed. they only work at random?

When you connect to the instrument cluster with vag-com, does it have any codes?
