What to replace discontinued Blizzak LM-22 with?

So, last winter I picked up a set of Blizzak LM-22s from a member on Audizine. Well I hit a pothole and one of the tires ripped. The LM 22s are discontinued now and I can't find the size I need anywhere (225/45/17).

Would it be ok if I picked up an LM-25 for that tire? Or maybe I should replace 2?

How worn down are your other three tires?

if your tires are over 60% tread, i would replace the 1 with the newer model.

If they were under 60%, its kind of iffy. i would probably replace the set and try to sell the remaining 3 on the classefieds.

if you must only replace 2, put the grippier tires on the rear. Otherwise, your car may be prone to fishtailing.

I would suggest just replacing all 4 to be safe.

Plus, your don't want to have tires of different diameters on the same axle. This causes the differential to work overtime and can lead to premature failure.

If they were relatively new then I'd buy something similar, but if they're not then bye bye three perfectly good tires. I would now like to take this moment and recommend you get Nokians for new winter tires if you replace them now, or later when you have to replace them due to wear.

Yea the other 3 are in pretty good condition. So would it be better to replace the rear 2 or just that one tire. And what kind of tire should I get?

i thought the lm30 was the replacement for the lm22. maybe im wrong.

LM 60 is new LM 22 tire, we just sold the last set yesterday. How old are those tires since winter tires have expiration date
