Shaved Engine Bay....

I want to relocate the ABS, battery, Engine harness, coolant, etc.

Anything would help!

My engine is already out of the car and today i finished stripping the rest of the bay getting it ready for paint..

So i searched on the forums, and could only really find info on the b5 threads.

Has anyone done this on a B6.. DIY, any links or info would be helpful!!!

Here's a link to a DIY to remove the vacuum line and check valve: DIY - B6 1.8t - Vacuum line and Check Valve removal/simplification.

You might want to check w/ JetJockey or search on his threads. He's done major work to his car include relocating the battery so he might be able to provide some insights there.

what do you mean by shaved engine bay???You can cut the firewall off, but you might have some issues when it rains..while there you can relocate the abs where the battery is right now, you'll make some room for a nice custom intake manifold

or you could get the engine bay covers. Dthaus sells them. cleans up the bay pretty well. then again shaving costs less than $80 pesos worth of covers.

There's a huge thread about his build. Search for A4rob. Car is immaculate in person and even the interior is perfect! I'll see if I have any pics of it from Eurowerks last year.
