But you're on a Sline right? The suspension is more suited for that I think :) I have the non-sport suspension so I am worried about the longevity of the shocks. I'm going with the ST's. Our winters here really aren't that bad and I think with proper care, it'd hold up fine. Which springs are you on? Any bounciness?

im on H&R Sports and and was on sports suspension, not s-line. great tell me how the STs hold up maybe i can get it next winter ;P

None of those cars are as prone to understeer as ours, which running staggered tires will only make worse. Staggering on our cars might technically work, but it still doesn't make sense.

My point was that it's inaccurate to make a blanket statement about staggered setups on AWD cars.

Anyone have an idea (or experience) of what the most aggressive offset that I can run on my winter setup (front/back) without having to do fender work? Take note of the tire size.

Non-OEM Winter wheels are 18x8.5 ET35 and I'm running 225/45/18 Michelin Alpin PA3's.

I'm thinking ~27 (8mm spacer?) but I would like to hear some other thoughts. Who makes good quality odd sized spacers?

Yea, it's a bit beefier looking than I expected, especially paired with black wheels. That being said the look really grew on me. It just looks mean. Plus it handles like a fucking champ in the snow...which is exactly why I bought these tires.

I've got the same tires in the same size and yeah when I had them out on they were much beefier than I thought they would be. The look grew on me though and they ride well, I'm really happy with them.

Got my gunmetal VMR 701s on over the weekend. They are 19x9.5 ET45.

Just got my 19" VMR V708 wrapped in Hanooks 255/35/19. Switched out my stock springs with S-line suspension. I didn't want to dump my car since I drive 40 miles a day for work so I went with the subtle S-line drop. I'm not going to lie, I'm a bit dissapointed. I hope it'll settle a little bit more.

They make very nice replica wheels. The wheels you have seen have probably been powder coated black after purchase.

A few miles up the road from you... Was out shooting video today on... a road that was recently recommended to me... and I thought I saw you going the opposite direction. When I looked at the video tonight, I realized the driver is a blonde woman and the wheels were silver not black. It had a black painted/vinyled roof like yours and no front plate. Im planning on doing some things to my audi and im wondering if i should go matte black rims or gunmetal rims and should i tint my windows, note- my audi is a B8 frame and its a 2012 Audi A4 black on black. Last thing i was wondering can the orange cover inside the light come off because the guy at my mechanic shop was scared to take off the light cover and not be able to put it back on. If you have any pictures of an Audi A4 with silver or chrome rims and an Audi A4 with MAtte Black rims can u post a picture.
