Agree. Rims are 8.5". Like I said it's weird since the old tires were exactly the same brand/spec and don't look like that. I think they might relax over time, seemed like they did a little but ended up caving and went 255 40 19 and MUCH happier with the look.

Needed to repair or replace a couple of badly damaged wheels from the car sliding into a curb last winter. Decided to go with new rotor knockoffs and am happy with the outcome. Eventually the ride height will be addressed, but not quite yet given the car is at college with my oldest son.

Need some tire size help. Just picked up these 18x8 / 18x9 et35 Vors VR8 wheels.

Current wheels. 18x8 rotors with 245/40 tires et35
    RenderedImage_Original.JPG

New wheels. I want to run a 10mm spacer in the rear and 12mm in the front.
    4367AC5D-FCB8-488B-9C17-5FD9E7504807.JPG

Looking at 225/40 tires just worried I’ll rub in the rear at my current height with et25. There’s about 7/8” between the tire and fender right now.

I’m on b12 bilstein coils and eibach sport line springs. The wagon still has a rake. Rear is higher. Makes the front seem way lower since I have 20s. I also have the front fenders rolled and running I’m 3mm spacer. The Oz racing wheels I run require a 36mm wheel lug bolt as opposed to Audi OEM 26mm bolts. I’m running a 3mm spacer on top of that difference. So the front wheel is poking 13mm out more.
The rear has a 8mm spacer.

I currently don’t rub and I drive hard. I’ma switch to SoloWerks this month so I can adjust the height. I need to get rid of this rake it’s been too long.

Can you post a side view? Reason I ask is because I hardly ever see 18" aftermarket wheels and it would be good to see how they look in terms of size from the side view. Hell, most people think even 19" wheels are too small for these cars and instead go with 20" aftermarket wheels.

On a side note, your intercooler is humongous. Did you notice any increase in turbo lag with that giant intercooler?

Also, no issue with lag. It's the Integrated Engineering Intercooler. It stays VERY COLD!

Mine is the Monsoon Grey, I love this color.

This is the lip, thank you! I just ordered a new one, the same one actually. I hit a raccoon and shattered it lol.

Whoops! I meant monsoon. Did you remove the bottom lip on the stock s-line bumper to fit that one? It looks great. Much better than the ones on ECS that just attach to the stock bottom lip IMO.

Doesn't look bad....18" wheels aren't the popular choice, but it looks decent on your car.

My amazing B8 S-line wagon is shifting down to "project" status at 100k and I've been searching for the perfect "impractical" wheels. Did you have the rotors re-drilled to new BP? Or just the spacers?
Thanks, mine's red and it'll be hard to adjust to different "daily".

That might be a little tight, I run a 255 and et33 offset and I'm fine but rub in the rear over bumps with passengers. My suspension is factory S-Line/Sport suspension so it's lower than standard but not as low as te H&Rs. Squeezing a 265 in there might be tough is my thinking, but not impossible. Maybe someone else will chime in who has tried it.
