    Looks for good shallow mount components

    I went to install some speakers today and realized I have a pretty limited amount of mounting depth after making my mounting ring. Anyone have some suggestions on good shallow mount speakers (2" or less depth) that aren't very expensive. I would say $250 or less. I still want something decent just not looking to spend a lot on this system.

    are you looking for both front and rear doors or just front??? do you know what ohm you need? 2 or 4??? if 2, then possibly infinity kappa's and if 4 ohm then rockford punch componenets. look up crutchfield.com to check fitmet. good luck

    I need 4 ohm. I am going to amp them. I am going to do rears as well just not components. Anyone know exactly what size is in the rear doors and if they are mounted on the door panel like the fronts are?

    Focal & Rainbow both have nice slimsline's.
    Please note, you can fit 6.5" Focal slimline's into the front doors of the B5, see post 5:
