Recoding the radio - 01304 - no communication

I have an aftermarket radio installed and every time I scan my car I get:

    01304 - Radio
    49-00 - No Communications

Can anyone share info on how to recode the radio so the car ignores the radio?

It has to do with the aftermarket wiring harness adapter. If you have the blue(remote) wire connected it will read that. Disconnect that wire and try scanning again.

Hm interesting, I didn't think I had that hooked up to anything. Guess I will open it up and take a look.
