sooo....i left school today to my car and someone parked next to it and when they backed up scratched my car. since the police are so incompitent and there was no surveilance I am left with the demeaning look of the scratches. they are on my rims and rear bumper. what is the best product to minimize the scratches on both areas, and is there anything else to make them look almost gone??

I use Meguiar's ScratchX on painted areas of the car with great results. Just bought SwirlX to try also.

color of the car? turtle wax makes an excellent black wax kit that has a filler that looks like lipstick. works well for me.

If you can catch the scratch with your fingernail, it won't completely come out with a polish but that's where I'd start.

Yep, if your fingernail gets caught in the scratch, you won't be able to polish it out. ScratchX and a Megs yellow foam pad will be a good start.
