    Can the led lights be changed or does the whole unit need to be changed? This question applies both to the front and the rear. Does the warranty cover them if one burns out?

    yes I am talking about the headlights and the brake lights in the rear. Are those Led's replaceable or does the whole unit need to be replaced if one goes out?

    Re: LED Lights

    To answer your question - Yes, it is the whole unit that your need to replace.

    @Jay B7
    The LED tail lights on A6 have been seen with individual not functional LEDs.

    So if they are supposed to last a lifetime (as i have seen marketed), that means they would be covered under warranty right? Especially since the whole gosh darn unit has to be replaced.

    wow - talk about bring a thread back from the dead...

    I hope it is covered under warranty. One person had around 50% of his LED taillights burn out. If my car came with the LED lights and some of them went out, I would raise hell if the dealer did not want to cover it under warranty...
