Official B6 Picture Thread

I was thinking about this thread the other day. It's curious that this one is labeled as the official b6 picture thread and was started in '09, yet the 'random photos of your b6' thread that was started a couple years later somehow became the main photo thread lol Wonder why this one got neglected? Anyway, just random thoughts I have while driving my long a$$ commute

I think "official" implies adding pictures of your car in a show state which if you think about it, there aren't many people on here who have a B6 that isn't broken or in pieces so it's much more comfortable to post random shots instead.

or you know, this thread was just buried when the other one was made.

I want to actually see this one revived and used for a posting hub for glamour shots of your rides. When I get a chance to get out and get some good pictures I will post up myself. Also waiting to get my JP Vizage lip put on and hopefully source a lower S4 grille to custom fit to my lower A4 grille frame. With that said, I am happy with the cars progress.

What?! Broken Audis you say? I highly doubt that's true, they're only 20 years old.

...as I push in a piece of interior door trim, manually push up my sagging passenger window, and stare out my cracked windshield every time I get in the car lol

Back in 2009 when this thread was made most B6s were not the hoopties they are today. It was easy to find clean ones and you'd often see them at shows. Today you're more likely to find them in a junkyard or on its 5th+ owner

I was speculating more on the contemporary reasons why this thread is dead. I'm aware these were still "new" in '09

that said though... I couldn't imagine shelling out sticker price for one of these, even considering that they're 20 years old and still hold up reasonably well.

I just got my 3rd one (not owned simultaneously LOL) for like $6K and it was a 1 owner for 20 years and has just under 51K miles! I recently did a maintenance for misfires where I swapped in some iridium plugs and red top coil packs as well as doing the valve cover gasket replacement but it runs so buttery smooth it is really incredible for how old it is. The body and frame are pretty much immaculate too. I plan to keep this thing until I can take it to classic car shows LOL!

Swapped out my front grille setup the other day to show my alternative look. Still like the S4 grille and chrome best personally but its cool to have an alternative look every now and again.

My First B6 way back when! I think it was like 2008/2009 when I owned this one and I got it for like $12K then and I think it has like 84K Miles on it.

I love the old sport wheel set like the ones on your last pic there, I had them on my first B6 and now they're on my second... but I had to paint them though because they were a mess when I bought the car they came on, I can say they look really good in gun metal grey.

Sadly, I am parting ways with my black B6 but here are some final pictures of it before it heads off to its new owner who at least is a fellow enthusiast!
