Mine bolted up perfect with NO issues. It took a hour or two to do the downpipe and AWE exhaust. What part is not working for you?

I have the same issue. I ordered the downpipe from Labree without specifying what size midpipe I was connecting, so they made it so it would connect to the stock midpipe. I'm just gonna bring it to a shop to get welded.

Did you order a manual version of the AWE and thats why the midpipe is not stock diameter?

The AWE midpipe is never stock diameter- mine is 3", but they recently changed to 2.5".

Is changing the downpipe have similar gains to changing to a testpipe?

Re: labree downpipe with awe exhaust, tiptronic question

So I called Labree today to get a DP that would connect between my 034 Motorsports HFC that I have bought but not yet installed, and my stock midpipe. I plan on getting the AWE system in the future, but I haven't ordered it yet. Labree convinced me that there is no way that the 3" 034 HFC could connect to the stock DP let alone their 2.5" DP. What are people running after the 034 HFC, a 'custom 3" to stock' DP, the 'Labree 2.5" to stock' DP, or another brands DP?

Also, do you think its going to be that much of difference to run a 3" to 2.5" or 2.5" to 2.5" DP so that it runs with no restriction into the AWE Midpipe, or the stock diameter difference will not make that huge an impact that far away from the turbo and its better to keep everything bolt on?

Would really like to get my HFC on, but im not going to spend the money to get it installed and then have to reinstall it a few months later when i get an upgraded DP. Thanks

Just my 2 cents but if i were you, I would sell the 034 HFC( easily done, considering that they are over a month backordered) and get the Labree HFC and Downpipe already connected. Goodluck!
