Subaru's AWD is very over rated. It's really nothing special but they put terms like "symmetrical AWD" and people think its important. In reality all its saying is that the power is never distributed and it is 50/50. Quattro is 50/50 all the time until there is wheel slippage then it can put like 70% or so to the wheels that have more grip. In some cases in snow this can make it harder to drift and more predictable but if you know what your doing it will make much better snow play as with the right amount of clutch play it kicks the back out farther then its all in the throttle. My buddy says its a bad thing and I should of just got a RWD cuz it "acts like one" lol. This was after going completely sideways around the whole gas station lol. I wish I could of recorded it. Only thing I'd like is a torsen rear differential as a limited slip.
