Difference between 06 and 07 model years?

Anyone have a list of everything Audi changed going from 06 to 07?

    I know the following:

*Under seat compartment is flip down instead of a pull out drawer and much smaller.
*Mirror assist for reverse was removed
*Power seats don't go as low
*Manual shift knob is different, not like the older "cue ball" knobs
    *4 spoke steering wheel
    *New ECU/software

    - Revised cam/follower design, supposedly less prone to wear
    - Chrome accents on the buttons of the dash
    - Symphony II+ head unit
    - Color DIS only available with NAV (2.0 at least)
    - reorganized the options packages\
    - Audi Care no longer standard, but still offered for a fee

*At no time in the B7 run was sport or S-line standard.*

S-line appearance-only became standard in 2008, but S-line was still an option adding wheels, suspension, side badges and interior enchanements.

    A couple I don't see here...
06: rear heated seats (my friends really appreciate me having this option in the winter)
07: ipod option (rear heated seats available only on 3.2)

I heard that the red "T" was originally for late model B6's with 190 hp instead of 170 hp. Audi probably just carried that over to 05 and 06 b7's.

the heated seats are part of the winter package.. i don't think that winter package was exclusive to 06's.. (my car has it, also features what I like to call the Ski condom?)

I've noticed one more difference between the years. Only a small change,

06 blocks are painted silver, while the 07 are painted black.

I've had both a 2006 and currently a 2007. Both were/are fully loaded but my 07 doesn't have memory seats.

Another difference is the arm rest. 06's don't have a button to pull the rest down, but 07's do.

first of all " the block " on every audi is silver. The head cover is what i assume you are all talking about. 05.5 and 06 was silver with some late model 06-on were then black.

I have a 2006 2.0, non s-line. It has memory seats, but no rear heat (my understanding is that front heat was with the winter pack, rear hear was a standalone option). Color display, red "T" on the back, and silver block. My Armrest also does have a button to pull it down. Goin' against the grain.

I bought it used and did not pay for the audi care pkg... yet I still got 15k, 25k and my oil changes and service for free. Does the audi care pkg include something else or am I mistaken? Last time I was in the dealership they said I will get my 35k service for free.

No free scheduled maintenance surprised me the first time I took my avant to the dealer. Luckily, the only thing you need to do to maintain your warranty is have the dealer do a syn oil change at the scheduled times. The rest if the service stuff is pretty easy to do yourself. The service advisor actually tried to tell me that some late 07's had timing chains and not belts. I was pretty sure this was BS, but I didn't want to call him out. I have the winter package on my B7 and only got front heaters.

I don't think they removed the dropped down mirror. Also you can get color display without navi. All you need to do is get a Technology Package. I think Convenience Package is what gives you the drop down mirror.
