How to get a B7 key to work with your B6

How much did the stealership charge you for the blank B7 shank or did you get it elsewhere - am trying to go this route because I can have my dealership program up to four remotes one time for $40.00....cant beat that.

I ordered a complete B7 Fob, shank and everything from Midwestkeyless on ebay. Paid $37+shipping for a fresh key, and it came quick too. Would recommend them again.

That's a great deal on programming, are you gonna have the dealer cut it too?

Thanks for the info BlaQ_B6 - I intend to take everything to the stealership and have them cut + program all four keys as long as they dont act some type of way. Worse case scenario will be to find a place to cut them and then just take it to the stealership to get programmed.

Anyone know of any good locksmiths in the NJ/NY/PA area they could recommend?

So i just got my keys cut, immo chips put in and next stop is the dealership. I just have a question about a couple things.

1. Whats the point of us doing the keymatch? Can the dealer not do this?
2. How did you know which immo chips to buy?
