    -So I was having trouble with my 71R Eliminator setup and I couldn’t boost over 15 PSI. So I did a little investigating. This is what I found

    After realizing that my turbo was shot I quickly ordered a new CHRA and reinstalled the turbo. After I reinstalled the turbo, I felt the need for more power. A short look at a friends SPA GT3071R build convinced me on what needed to be done.

    Later that month I sold my 71R Elim kit.

    I still have 2 more phases of the build. I still have to build my AEB head and have a custom intake manifold made.

    Upgraded the turbo to a GT3076R and I also installed a Snow Performance Stage 2 Methanol Kit

    i would highly consider bracing that turbo to either the head or block. My experience with that SPA mani has been less than satisfactory. Keep a VERY close eye on the bend in the manifold, as viewed from between your turbine and compressor housings (i.e. straight down) for cracks. I know that my turbo is a bit heavier, but regardless two of those manis have cracked on me so far.

    Everything is running well with no issues. I do still need to invest in a VAG-COM. It's just hard to spend $200.00 on an item when I know of guys that have a working system for under $50.00.

    How well does that intercooler fit beneath the bumper? Can you retain the rebar?

    If fits perfectly up under and right against the rebar with no/zero problems what so ever. I highly recommend this fmic as well it is great.

    I haven't done any logging yet, but even after "spirited driving" the cold side of the piping is cool to the touch.

    Both can be purchased for cheap, and after one night of reckless, risky fun, either can be found lifeless on the side of the road. Your family is disappointed and concerned once they find out you've picked one up. Not to mention you try to hide how much money you routinely give one from your significant other.

    - On 93 Octane
    - This was also with REVO BT software

    Oh man, you have almost the setup as the one I will be doing very soon...

    U didnt use a MAF, did you...?
    I bought a 3' Maf Case, but you seem to work it without....

    It is common practice. The MAF is not needed, it is a secondary form of verification for the ECU. Several people run without a MAF.

    lol what i meant to ask was did you get revo to program it to run without the maf or did you just unplug it and take it out?

    No I think that he has a CEL from not running the pump that runs into the passenger side fender (not sure what it is called) . You actually dont need to run the pump, you just need to plug in the connector that goes to the pump. Without it plugged in you will get a CEL. I hid the plug for that connector as well as a few others on the tranny housing for a cleaner look.

    You don't have to have anything changed in the REVO software you can just go ahead and unplug it and take it out.

    all that stuff youre talking about is the EVAP system, it bleeds off pressure from the gas tank.

    I read that you can fit your bumper with rebar and no modifications, since i have the same intercooler as you just thats 2" higher, i would like to know what distance you have between the closed hood to the beginning of the IC.
