I'm in need of someone with a VAG COM. I'm in Mt Vernon and I own a 08 A6. I just got the left headlight replaced and now my auto leveling doesn't work and I'm getting errors. I heard this can be corrected with a VAG. If anyone can help out please let me know.

I would like to do a few mods to my b6 s4 ( seat belt chime, door chime, one push unlock all doors, n the rotw for the fogs n such) I live in the Bronx willing to meet up anywhere in the tri state area and will go as far as jersey n ct if its in close range shoot me a pm if ur down. Did you find anyone so far? If the B6 uses Hex-Can-USB and you don't mind a drive out to NJ, pm me. My zip is 07013 if you want to check the distance

Where on Long Island? I have VCDS Lite with an eBay cable so I can basically just check and clear codes, what are you looking to do?

I was looking to do some of the lighting mods, windows up and down with keys, enable lap timer/oil temps, adjust dynamic steering and throttle response since I don't have the Sports Diff. Things of that nature.

Sorry guys, I only have an eBay vag-com cable with VCDS-Lite, so I'm limited to scanning and clearing codes, can't do programming or anything like that, at least not that I know of.

Anyone in queens wanna share their knowledge and let a fellow noob have easier time learning?

Do you program it with engine on or car started?

I bought the one for 250 enthusiast USB version so i can hook up to my laptop

Congrats on the Q5. Is that a typo on the price? The RT site shows '09+ Q5 using either Hex-Can-USB or Hex-Com-Can (but you need a serial port). The Hex-Can-USB is $350 though. Maybe I'm reading it wrong but I know I'd be bummed if I waited for my cable to arrive and it was the wrong one.
