I know the current trend is fitting 18 or 19 inch wheels and most people on the forum have gone for that look, but I wanted to try and keep a more classic look, as well as keeping the weight down and ride quality up, and risk of bending wheels down on our lousy roads. I lost 40 pounds of unsprung weight with this set up, and the car is noticeably more responsive all around, with an improved ride quality and much better braking action.

Brand/Name: BBS CH 025 painted gold with red BBS caps straight from BBS. I had these when I had my mkV GTI so the offset was a bit higher than I would have liked but some spacers fix that issue.

Spacer(s): 17.5mm rear for an et of 32.5, 15mm front for an et of 35
Camber: not sure, whatever the shop set it at when they did the laser alignment, I know they said they had to go just slightly more aggressive with it.
Tires: BFG KDW2's 215/40/18
Suspension: Koni coilovers as high as they can go in the rear while staying even and a touch lower in the front for a slight rake.
Spring Rates: whatever the coilovers came with
Ride height: low?
Fender mods: rolled front fenders, removed front liner tab and tucked liner in.
