Tip tranny sometimes hangs onto 2nd, won't go to 3rd for extra 5 secs

On my '09 it was happening for a few months after I pisked it up, then a software update which seemed to reduce the issue and now I have it a couple of times a week. For me it's primarily when I drive a little more aggresively around a corner. I too have switched to manual mode and changed to 3rd. I've essentially grown to live with it. I no longer have a warranty so fixing this could be scary expensive!

this is most likely the power steering hose issue and should be covered by a TSB. i just had mine replaced last week covered.

i have it too. I F'n pissed, because I also have an issue when I turn the wheel in the parking lot, the steering wheel vibrates like a mother. Of course Audi can't fix it. I'll be happy to get rid of this POS. Already got rid of my S4 and went with a MB, service is 100x better. Audi's service sucks these days, so I am going to the competitors now a days.
